I have yet to use this replacement filter cartridge because the one that came with our pool is still good. We used our pool the entire summer and didn’t have to change it so this is a very good item.

Wal mart can’t keep these things in stock so the best place to buy filters and pumps for your pool is here in Amazon.

When local Wal-Marts stopped stocking our pool filters (in Texas, in August) we had to search elsewhere. These were the same ones we’d been buying locally. Even with shipping (that was reasonably quick) they were about the same price.

Our pool is under an umbrella of trees which means pollen is forever drifting into the water. These filters work wonderfully to keep the pollen from turning the water green. They can be removed, hosed down, and reused over and over too. Adding Polysheen Blue to the water helps the filter paper attract and hold pollen and other water pollutants, making the filter even more effective.
